    What the Hot Bugz Guarantee Covers

    The Hot Bugz guarantee is structured around two components: the effectiveness of the heat treatment for the specific bed bugs present at the time of treatment, and a defined coverage period during which any return of those bed bugs triggers a free re-treatment.

A customer who understands the distinction at the front of the engagement is in a better position to evaluate the firm’s response if the question arises later.

    What Triggers a Free Re-Treatment

    The conditions for a free re-treatment under the Hot Bugz guarantee are documented and specific. The customer reports renewed bed bug activity within the six-month coverage window. The firm performs an inspection to confirm the activity. The inspection identifies that the activity is consistent with incomplete elimination of the original population rather than a new introduction. The customer has substantially complied with the prep list and post-treatment guidance.

    Why Some Companies’ Guarantees Are Stronger Than Others

    A strong guarantee is in writing. The terms are documented in a contract or written engagement letter that the customer has before treatment day and can refer to later. A firm that answers questions about prep, returns customer calls about whether observed activity is concerning, and supports the customer through the coverage period is one whose guarantee is more meaningful than a firm that treats the post-treatment relationship as transactional.
